Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Experienced Machine Learning Engineer. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing production-grade ML models and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into the EmoCare AI platform, and continuously refining models based on feedback and new data. You will also be expected to stay ahead of the latest AI advancements and actively contribute to our most innovative projects. This is an on-site role in Gothenburg.

Who we’re looking for

- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field

- Proven experience in machine learning and real-world AI projects

- Skilled in full-cycle ML development: from prototyping, data pipelines, and deployment (MLOps) to production

- Strong experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation

- Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow and the surrounding ML tooling ecosystem

- Passion for building impact-driven systems, ideally with interest in mental health

- Based in Gothenburg (or willing to relocate)

- A strong collaborator who thrives in a fast-moving startup environment
